Donations and Sale of Goods
Heart for India is a recognised charity in Australia. It provides funds for the establishment and sustainable development of Bethesda Children’s Homes in India. All gifts to Heart for India are directed entirely to the Bethesda Children’s Homes via our partner GDG (ie Global Development Group - an Australian NGO approved under the Overseas Aid Gift Deduction Scheme). The only administration fees are a small 6% fee charged by GDG for organisational and project compliance with ATO and AusAid requirements
All gifts and sponsorships of $50 and over to Heart for India are tax deductible. Receipts that comply with ATO requirements for gifts to registered charities are sent to donors. Gifts may be one time donations of any amount or recurring donations at monthly intervals.
Heart for India Inc offers a very select range of items for sale. This includes Heart for India a DVD documentary about children in India, and occasionally some items produced by the children at the Bethesda Children’s Homes.
Shipping Policy
We charge a flat rate of AUD $5.00 per item within Australia, $10 per item overseas. For bulk orders of 3 items or more, please email events@heartforindia.org.au for a quote. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days and shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days depending on your location within Australia. Shipping times to overseas destinations are estimated at 7 to 14 days. Heart for India Inc ships goods Australia wide and internationally using Australia Post.
Customer Service Policy
If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order we will notify you within 2 business days. Heart For India Inc is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. Standard delivery timeframes are between 3-10 business days within Australia; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.

Heart For India Inc is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us; that's all. Heart For India Inc uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from Heart For India Inc only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a more friendly, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience.

When purchasing from Heart For India Inc your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
