India Tours

What are the first impressions when an Aussie visits one of these homes? Some comments from Leanne of Warragul and Helen of Brisbane who visited the Sylvassa Boys Home in Dec 2008:

“The boys were happy, well behaved, obedient and respectful…they seem to have structured and secure lives, and they are quite buoyant and lively…they have very little and live in cramped surroundings, but in comparison to the community around them this was ok. It was obvious that the House Parents Santosh and LaTai had a very genuine care for the boys and included their own sons Jeffim and Joell in the home community…the assistants helping with the domestic duties seemed to love their work.”
