How You Can Help
Donating
Because of the work of Heart for India rallying together with New India Church of God, a growing number of Indian children are rescued from starvation, malnutrition, neglect and slavery each year.
The quality of life of these children is dramatically improved by provision of safe, clean accommodation, nutritious meals, a caring family environment and access to medical care.
Your financial support can ensure that rescued children are moved from temporary rented premises to purpose built permanent facilities. New homes are currently underway or being planned for in Orissa, Nepal and Madhya Pradesh.
The children in the Orissa and Madhya Pradesh regions of India are in desperate need of your support. Unicef estimates that there is 1.3million child (10-14 years old) labourers in Orissa whilst unofficial estimates are closer to 3.6 million. The international Food Policy Research Institute has listed Madhya Pradesh as having an extremely alarming nutritional situation with malnutrition worse than Ethiopia or Sudan.
